What data do we process?
The name, email address and town you enter in the waitlist form, and your phone number if you provide it.
What for?
Only to let you know when kaSi Kimchi launches and when you can place your first order. We use your phone number only if you give it, and only to tell you about the first delivery.
On what legal basis?
Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing hello@kasi.ro. Withdrawing does not affect processing carried out before.
Who can see it?
Only the controller. The form is received and stored by the website's host, Netlify, Inc. (USA), acting as processor. We never sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.
Is data transferred outside the EU?
Netlify, Inc. is based in the United States. Data is transferred on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Should this framework cease to apply, transfers take place under the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission (Art. 46 GDPR).
How long do we keep it?
Until the launch announcement is sent, for no more than 2 years, or until you withdraw your consent.
Your rights
- to know what data we hold about you;
- to have it corrected or deleted;
- to restrict processing and to receive a copy of your data;
- to withdraw your consent at any time.
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, www.dataprotection.ro).
